Inquiry about Microsoft Authenticator app

Dear Support Team,

I was using three keys as a second factor of authentication in the Microsoft Authenticator app. However, when trying to sign in recently, I noticed that those keys are no longer showing, nor are the saved passwords.

I would like to request guidance on how I can recover the passwords and, if necessary, how to remove the use of two-factor authentication from the linked applications.

Thank you very much for your assistance.

Sincerely, Dylan

    Hello,

Microsoft discontinued the autofill and saved passwords in August. It was communicated here. Leading up to this change, there was a banner in the authenticator app that communicated about this.

Unfortunately there's no way to recovered saved passwords at this point in the app.

As to removing 2FA, that's up to each service provider, whether they have mandated 2FA. If not, you have to go through each service to sign into your account to disable it.

If it is for your personal Microsoft account, you need to cancel it via https://account.live.com > Security.

Thank you for your response. How can I verify whether the company or service I am interested in has required the use of two-factor authentication or not?
