Since you mention you tried using youtube videos, May I know what kind of troubleshoot you did and also did you try to clean and reattach again the keyboard? Detach the keyboard then clean the connector pins with a microfiber cloth or compressed air then reattach firmly until it clicks—wiggle slightly to ensure good contact. incase you tried this and also you already update your surface, you can try to use Surface Diagnostic Toolkit https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/surface/fix-common-problems-using-the-surface-app-and-surface-diagnostic-toolkit-f61d8d18-37a9-863d-f8d0-1982eb16f7b5#bkmk_sdt
Run the tool to detect and fix hardware/software issues.
