Our team across multiple devices are experiencing an Issue when uploading images to a specific Destination folder that the images are not uploaded to said folder but actually uploaded to thier "My files" folder instead. This has only been occurring the last month or so but hasnt been an issue for the last few years we have been operating on Onedrive.

All IOS and Onedrive apps are upto date and current.

    Dear @Daniel Nelson,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Based on your description, I know that you're experiencing a frustrating issue with uploading images to OneDrive on iOS devices.

To better assist you, could you please confirm the following:

    • What version of the OneDrive app and iOS is currently installed on your device?
    • Does this behavior occur consistently with all photo uploads, or only after multiple attempts?
    • Are you using automatic camera upload or manually selecting photos for upload?
    • Are you signing into OneDrive with a personal Microsoft account or a work/school account?

In the meantime, I would recommend trying the following steps to work around the issue:

    1. Create a New Folder: As a temporary workaround, create a new folder in OneDrive and try uploading the images directly there to see if it behaves differently.
    2. Check App Permissions: Sometimes, permission issues can cause problems with file uploads. Ensure that OneDrive has the necessary permissions to access your photo library.
    3. Reset OneDrive App: Try resetting the app to clear any potential glitches. You can do this by uninstalling and then reinstalling the OneDrive app on your devices. Reinstall OneDrive
    4. Internet Connection: Make sure all devices have a stable internet connection, as poor connectivity can interfere with uploads.
    5. Clear Cache (if applicable): If you're using an older version of iOS, try clearing the app cache if the option is available.
    6. Test with a Different Account: Sometimes issues can be account specific. Testing with another Microsoft account can help identify if the problem lies with the account settings.
