My headphones cant be dected on bluetooth

Ok, so when i was tryong to connect my bluetooth headphones to my Hp laptop(idk what version idk) it wouldnt let my headphones show up on my bluetooth menu and what makes it harder is that everything on there is being detected including the tvs and speakers but not my SONY headphones and everything else comes up as "Unknown device" and i despise that beacuse idk if any of those "unknown devices" could be my headphones.

    Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A and informed us about the issue. From your description, I believed that the unknown devices are the signals from Bluetooth devices around your surrounding, to tackle with this issue please follow the instructions below:

    1. Basic check:

    Make sure your headphone is on Pairing Mode:

    • Turn off your headphone completely > Hold the power button to turn it on again
    • Make sure your headphone is not connected to any other devices
    • Refresh your Bluetooth windows and click on Add device > your PC should be scanning for available devices, and your headphone should be shows up since it is on Pairing Mode now > Find your headphone display name and click on it to connect

    2. Additional troubleshooting:

    In case your headphone still not connected, try these steps:

    • Run the Bluetooth troubleshoot: Open Windows settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters > Find Bluetooth option > Run.
    • Restart your PC: Sometimes a simple restart can fix these temporarily glitches and refresh the list of devices.
