    Hi Vijay Khamat,

Windows does not offer an alternative method to prevent users from copying files from a shared folder if they are granted read access. In Windows file sharing, permissions are managed through NTFS and share-level settings. When a user is given read access, they can open and view the contents of a file. However, this also means they can copy the file to another location.
