Hello @Rakshan Joel
Welcome to Microsoft Q&A,
You're trying to sign up for Azure for Students, but the system couldn’t verify your account because you don't have a school-issued email (like .edu or .ac.in). That’s a common issue, especially for students from institutes without official academic domains
Azure for Students is available only to students who meet the following requirements:
- You must affirm that you attend an accredited, degree-granting, two-year or four-year educational institution where you're a full-time student.
- You must verify your academic status through your organization's email address.
You can try using the GitHub Student Developer pack, verify your GitHub student status, then sign up for Azure for Students using your GitHub email.
https://education.github.com/pack
Before sign up to Azure for student you must have a verified GitHub Student Developer Pack. Please ensure that your student status is active by confirming it in your GitHub account settings.
If verification is still in progress, it might take some time, but you should receive a notification once it's complete.
How to activate Azure from your GitHub Student Developer pack:
- In the GitHub Offers page , browse through the available tools and locate Microsoft Azure. Click to generate your unique verification code.
- Now go to the Microsoft website and click on “Activate Now” button where you’ll get a prompt to sign in. sign in with GitHub account.
- Enter all your details and signup. ello Harsh Rawat, Welcome to Microsoft Q&A, You're trying to sign up for Azure for Students, but the system couldn’t verify your account because you don't have a school-issued email (like .edu or .ac.in). If you’re a genuine student but your school doesn’t provide .edu emails:
- Try submitting student ID card or enrollment proof to Microsoft Support. https://support.microsoft.com/contactus
- Sometimes, they manually approve access.
