Loop Glitches: Anyone Else Experiencing these Issues? MS Help

🧵 Sharing some recurring glitches our team is experiencing with Microsoft Loop—hoping for some insight or fixes soon. These issues are impacting usability across multiple users and browsers:

  1. Tagging Inconsistency
    @mentions randomly stop working. Sometimes they work fine, other times clicking to tag does nothing. Restarting, clearing cookies, or reopening the app doesn't consistently resolve it. Annoying that we have to send separate email, letting someone know that we were unable to tag them in loop.
  2. Highlighting Bug
    When trying to highlight text (to bold, underline, etc.), the highlight isn’t visible. We have to guess what's being selected—no visual, functionality still works, but makes editing difficult, especially if you misplace your cursor. have to try, try, try again.
  3. Scroll Reset in Loop Cards
    When editing a Loop card:
  • Scroll down to a section
  • Begin typing
  • The view auto-scrolls back to the top. It happens repeatedly and disrupts workflow, even though edits still save.
  1. Missing Notifications
    Mentions and assignments don’t always trigger notifications. Users often miss important tasks or tags because they were never alerted. Tags and assignments are visible, notifications are not sent, confirmed with receiving party they did not go to spam, junk or notifications are off. Common response, they get some, but others just never come though.

Anyone else seeing these? @Microsoft365 @MSFTLoop — any workarounds or updates coming?

    Our company is facing similar challenges, along with not being able to share Workspaces. The shared link is emailed but Loop does not allow the user to join. Any solutions for this?

    Yes! Issue No.2 So frustrating. And only happens on one of my many progress tracker tables Although, I didn't realise you could 'ghost' highlight copy/paste, at least that is a workaround that I wasn't aware of.
