Delinking or removing a Loop component from a calendar event

I am trying to remove a Loop component from a recurring calendar event, so that each instance of the event has its own Loop component, rather than one persistent component across the entire series.

I added the Loop component to the event series in MS Teams client (Mac). But I don't see any way to remove the component from the series, short of deleting the component totally, which I don't want to do as I have useful historical data in that component.

Is there any way to break the link for the seriese, or remove the component from the series?

I understand that you are looking to remove a Loop component from a recurring calendar event, you can manage your tasks using Loop Task Lists and Planner tools. To delete a task or plan, you can follow the troubleshooting steps through this: Delete a Task or Plan.

And also, if you need to manage tasks from Loop Task Lists, you can refer to Manage Your Tasks from Loop Task Lists for more detailed instructions.

I'm not trying to delete a task or plan, nor manage tasks within Loop. I want to disassociate a Loop component from a Teams calendar event.

Alright! To disassociate a Loop component from a Teams calendar event, you may need to manually remove the component from the event details. Also, you can refer to Microsoft's Loop components in Teams for general information on managing Loop components.

And also, If the Loop component is linked to OneDrive, you can also check your OneDrive files and remove the component from there.
