Is it possible for a OneDrive document link to directly open the iOS app?
I am trying to troubleshoot how to open links to OneDrive documents directly in the OneDrive iOS app (or Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), rather than first opening in Safari. This issue is specific to iOS devices (both iPhone and iPad).
I have a user who routinely has issues with their OneDrive account where they is prompted to sign in with their email address and password credentials when they are sent a link to a document that they have permissions to view and edit. Rather than opening directly in the app (which is always authenticated with his Senate account info), they are directed to Safari on their iPhone first, where their user credentials are often not remembered.
Is there any way to create OneDrive links to documents that directly open in their associated app, rather than first opening in Safari?
