Hi William, if I understand you correctly. Perpetual versions of Office, such as Office 2010, 2016,2019, 2021 cannot be used on iPad etc. Only Microsoft 365 Personal or Family can be used. Sorry. You do know that Microsoft HATES perpetual versions of Office. It prefers the cash cow Microsoft 365.
Can I get older versions of Office on iOS?
I have a license to Office 2010 (my preferred version) and Office 2016 (which I seem to have lost the key for) I have an iPad as well and I’m wondering if it’s possible to get these on iPad. The Office 365 (or whatever you want to call it) model doesn’t work for me and that’s the only version I can find. As someone who tri-boots (I hope that’s a word) Windows 10 Pro, Windows XP Professional, and Ubuntu 2024.4, I don’t mind using LibreOffice, but I still prefer the Microsoft Office experience. Will someone please help me out here?
