There are no charges for Microsoft Family Safety. If you go to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders do you see any charge?
Please keep us posted.

hi I just got an email this morning that someone was added to my family safety. I don't have family safety. Then a few mins later I get a charge from Microsoft for $50 on my bank account. Is this a scam?

I just checked and it doesn't show anything. I ended up changing my password and canceling my debit card. is it possible that by gaining access they got my debit card info?
I see. Unless you enter the CC info, the subscription is not done automatically. Is it possible that someone from the Family did it?
there was someone that added themselves on it. It was a name I'm not familiar with. It was just odd they added themselves then minutes later got a $50 dollar charge.
not sure how my card was compromised
