I had an error with trying to send an email (Microsoft 365) on my android phone.

The send arrow was disabled. I deleted the email account.

I tried to add the account again and now it is coming up with 'Something went wrong. {5ssai}.

I was able to get everything working again by resetting MFA here: https://entra.microsoft.com/.  Apparently after October 2024, if you try to setup a new phone it seems to error out until the MFA stuff is reset and I think enabled. It doesn't affect logins already established but it affects ones on new devices.

Here's an article on Godaddy that seems to cover the topic on how to reset it: I can't access my multi-factor authentication method | Microsoft 365 from GoDaddy - GoDaddy Help US

    Good Luck!

UPDATE:- I have my family Microsoft account that I use for my work docs and I also have a Microsoft account that is run through my website and email provider THIS was the one that needed to be set up for emails on my phone
BUT the issue was it needed to be completed at the backend through my website provider because MICROSOFT had locked all external providers out of their system (by woopsy) and all necessary passwords to be reset
Oh and stay away from the Microsoft authenticator app - it is terrible
