We keep randomly getting the "Error: There was a problem reaching this app" when trying to open tabs within Teams. How do we fix this?

The error is not consistent and something just refreshing the tab fixes it; however, sometimes its down for several hours and no one can access the tabs. We've tried restarting, but that doesn't seem to help.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue with Teams. The error "There was a problem reaching this app" Can be related to the admin or IT policy so first ensure that the app is unblocked in the admin center.

    2. Manage Apps: In the Teams Admin Center, go to "Teams apps" and then select "Manage apps."
    3. Search for the App: Use the search bar to find the app you can't open or app tab you can't open, select the app by hitting the check bar. then click on allow You should check the information by going in permission policies click on the organization policy and check if the app is block or not

However, after admin has check the above setting and you are still facing the issue try to check if you are facing the issue in teams online version. If not clear your teams app cache Reference: Clear Teams cache - Microsoft Teams | Microsoft Learn.
