Organisation is showing up in the dropdown in Teams, but is not present in the organisations in 'My Account'

I have organisation showing up in the dropdown in Teams, but this organisationis not present in the organisations in 'My Account'. This means I cannot leave it myself. Switching to the organisationdoes not work, because my account is not active anymore in that tenant.

I've also asked the organisationthat I was a guest of to delete my account from their tenant, but even after that the organisationis still showing up in my dropdown lists on all apps and web Teams apps.

    I understand you are unable to leave an organization despite asking the Admin to remove you. I understand how frustrating that can be. Rest assured I will try to provide you with a solution.

    We’ll need more details regarding your issue to assist you more efficiently. Below are some questions that may help us isolate the issue you are experiencing.

    Are you using the web browser to access Teams or the app?

    What device are you using currently?

    Did you try to clear Teams Cache before attempting your exit?

    Hi Femi,

    We've tried everything so far, from clearing the cache to resetting my Windows profile. Nothing has worked so far.

    Also, we've tried on all platforms (Web, Windows client, iOS, Android), the "ghost" organisation is showing up everywhere. But not on the Microsoft account webpage where you should be able to leave the organisation.

    It seems to be stuck somewhere in the Microsoft O365 cloud if you ask me.
