whiteboard is not showing on Teams Meeting

Hello, 

I'm having an issue with Whiteboard in Microsoft Teams. I'm trying to use the whiteboard on Teams meeting, but when I click on share icon on Teams meeting to open the whiteboard, It just doesn't show there. The App is missing. Please help.

    What I have found is that 1) you must have 3 or more attendees for Whiteboard to be activated (if only 2, it simply will not show); and 2) (it appears that your administrator has) an admin must turn this function "on" as there is no per person license, it is organizational at this time.

    No, it was showing before. I have used it before, but now it's missing.

    Firstly, I would suggest you follow the below basic troubleshooting to avoid common issues due to app cache:

    1. Manually restart the app by right-clicking the icon in your taskbar (Windows) and selecting Quit. After you quit, click the app icon to open it again.
    2. Go to File Explorer, delete any of the files in the following locations:
      • %AppData%\Microsoft\teams\application cache\cache
      • %AppData%\Microsoft\teams\blob_storage
      • %AppData%\Microsoft\teams\databases
      • %AppData%\Microsoft\teams\cache
      • %AppData%\Microsoft\teams\gpucache
      • %AppData%\Microsoft\teams\Indexeddb
      • %AppData%\Microsoft\teams\Local Storage
      • %AppData%\Microsoft\teams\tmp

    Besides, you could access 'Teams Web App' https//teams.microsoft.com, use "Use the web app instead" option to open teams in a browser and check whether you can access whiteboard on screen share. It will help to isolate the issue with the desktop app.

    We’re you able to access whiteboard app earlier or it has never worked before?

    To see whiteboard app option, You need to turn on Allow whiteboard in Microsoft Teams Admin Center first. Please contact your IT administrator if it has never been enabled.
