Microsoft Teams:- Screen Share problem with Black Screen shown to me instead of White Board being screen shared by teacher.

Instead of the appropriate whiteboard being presented by the teacher in an online class, I am greeted by a black screen. This problem only affected me during the entire class, while others are seeing the whiteboard fine. Facing the same problem when I tried to attend the lecture through Microsoft Teams App in my Android phone. No whiteboard, but a black screen.

    I am facing the same problem in Windows application too. Submitted a feedback report under the same account(ending with @iitkgp.ac.in) at the call end. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling Microsoft Teams in Windows, the problem is NOT solved and the same black screen is being shown.

    Same problem here. It started just a few days ago. The whiteboard app shows black screen, black background, and it can not be changed.

    So the whiteboard is a "black"board.

    Reinstalling Teams is not a solution, it does not help.

    The same error is raised by more users, so its a Teams / whiteboard bug.

    I wonder whether this is an application issue or not. So in this case I want you to double-check whether you are experiencing the black screen issue when using MS Teams online.

    Please follow these steps below to isolate the issue:

    1. Please go to your computer then open your chrome or edge browser as recommended browsers to access MS Teams online.
    2. Please go to MS Teams online https://teams.microsoft.com
    3. The try to log in.

    Are you experiencing the black screen issue when you are using MS Teams online from your computer?

    I am using the teams app on windows 10 and when I share my screen my students can't see it or they see a black screen. I suggested to leave the session and join again . sometimes it works but I am not satisfied with this because i need to wait till the student join again. Also, why I can't record my whiteboard on teams ?? I can record it on zoom when I used the app but on teams I can't.  I need a solution for both problems.

    Log out from your account > uninstall MS Team app > Restart your phone > Please go to Play store for > Reinstall MS Team app
