    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A.

If you are unable to allow an app to make changes to your computer, it's because you're not logged into the administrator account on the device.

In this situation, please try resetting the Windows Hello PIN for your Dad's (Administrator) account if he forgot the code.

    1. Are you able to log in to your dad's account using any other methods, such as a Microsoft account password or Biometrics?

If not, you can select the 'Forgot my PIN' option on the sign-in screen to reset it.

Alternatively, if you are logged into the administrator account, go to Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options > PIN (Windows Hello) > Click Change PIN.

Once it is changed, and if you're trying to install a program or app from your user profile, you can use the admin Windows Hello PIN to run it with administrator privileges.

Let me know if you still need more help.
