Will Microsoft ever pull the intel graphics driver version 26.20.100.7926 causing flashing and going black for minutes. I have had this problem for long time since last year. I have to install intel’s least driver update from the intel website. I was just wondering will Microsoft ever pull the update 26.20.100.7926.

I have blocked windows update from downloading drivers

but you shouldn’t need to I hope Microsoft is reading this.

I have a problem in my laptop, after updating the driver by windows update (Intel Corporation - Display - 26.20.100.7926) the screen, as soon as I move the mouse, is always flickering, flashing or intermittent display issues.

To be able to work normally, I have to install the Inter driver and support assistent to install the drive directly from intel.
I have to have windows update suspended, if I don't, it automatically updates the drive and I get graphics problems again.
Is there a solution from HP?

Uninstall the existing Intel graphics driver completely, restart Windows and download version 31.0.101.2125 f from Intel website,

    Intel® 7th-10th Gen Processor Graphics - Windows*

Then install the latest downloaded driver, and restart Windows.

I already done this I basically uninstalled the driver and then I went HKEY Current Machine and found the key set it to 3 to stop Windows Update downloading all drivers permanently then install it.

But what I would to know when will Microsoft pull this update it’s causing lots of problems for not just me for millions around the world.

laptop manufacturers should test latest driver in your device first, If driver has passed the all tests successfully which is prescribed by WHQL Microsoft inc.

Affer that OEM should upload tested driver's to Windows catalogue server for approval with hardware device ID.

Then only Windows OS will detect Correct driver for device hardware Id, start downloading whql drivers from windows update server.

All depending upon laptop manufacturers. Contact your laptop manufacturer support site.
