    Hello paulvincent(2),my name is Luiz Cruz independent consultant and I'm here to help you;

    I understand that sound and video stutter when you move your mouse;

    Does this problem only occur when you move the mouse cursor?

    What exactly is the model and manufacturer of your mouse?

    What exactly is your PC model and manufacturer?

    If it's a desktop, what exactly is the model and manufacturer of the motherboard?

    Before answering the question, I suggest that you check if the system is up to date;

    Press Windows key + i and go to Update and Security;

    Click Check for updates and do ALL pending updates;

    Make sure Edge is up to date;

    Open Edge and go to Settings;

    Click on About Microsoft Edge in the menu on the left of the screen;

    If there is an update, it will be done;

    Try resetting the Edge settings;

    Open Edge and go to Settings;

    Click on Reset settings in the menu on the left of the screen;

    Click on Restore settings to their default values;

    Click Reset;

    Check if the problem still persists;

    See you soon!

    Hi Paul Vincent,

    1

    If this problem only happens in Edge:

    Go into Edge Settings and search for Hardware in the Settings search box, then disable Hardware Accelerated Graphics.

    Then restart Edge and test if the problem still exists.

    2

    Otherwise:

    Completely remove the current graphics card device driver using the widely available free DDU utility, then restart your PC and go to the support page for your PC on the manufacturer's website to download and install their recommended version of the graphics card device driver.

    A slightly older version of that driver is more stable than the latest version.
