Corsair media controls not working

My keyboard Corsair k70 RGB Pro has dedicated media keys and they are not functional when tabbed out of edge

I have tried to enable the Chrome:/Flags

-hardware media key handling

-Global media key handling

Separately and in conjunction

both flags has the keys functional shortly but tabbing into a game disables the media function.

(Win 10 play pause popup comes up)

It flickers on to play then back to pause instantly but doesn't affect the media control for longer then 1 min.

Other things i have tried is disabling tab sleeping as well as the flags i described, i have waited for a update for edge but the issue persists.
I dont mind the terrible search results edge brings but the media key issue is experience breaking for me.

Edge version: Current version of Edge
Windows version: current Win 10 version

    I understand that the media control on your Corsair KK70 keyboard is not working;

    Do you have any previous keyboard drivers installed?

    If so, I suggest you uninstall them completely;

    Then download the CORSAIR iCUE v5.3 software from the link below:
