Microsoft Edge for Android keyboard issues.

Using the Edge android app, when I try and do anything that would call the keyboard forward, the app takes almost 3 full seconds to bring it up. This happens across the board within the app, using the main search bar, using any site specific search locations, anything involving the keyboard I'm seeing the same delay. 

I'm using a OnePlus 9 Pro

I use Microsoft swiftkey as my keyboard, but have tried other keyboards to the same result. 

I'm running Edge version 46.03.4.5155

I've tried a full uninstall and reinstall. 

I'm just not sure what else I can do. I truly want to use this as my default browser, but the user experience goes down the drain whenever I try and type anything. 

Please let me know if there's anything I can do to fix this. Thank you.

    Have you checked for pending updates for your device? If so, install it.

    It may be a bug in the Android system itself.

    A hard restet would be the option in the latter case.
