I hope you have a restore image ready. You'll have to do a fresh Win 10 install and wait until the update is rolled out for the i7-7820HQ. I'm rocking the Beta Windows 11 install on the Windows Insider channel on my SS2 until it is released, that's as close as you are going to get to an Official Win 11 install right now.
Need help installing Windows 11 on my Surface Studio 2
I have tried several things. The bottom line is the installers say my processor is not supported and both the pcHealthCheck and Microsoft say that the Processor & computer (MS Surface Studio 2 with Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7820HQ CPU @ 2.90GHz) is supported.
I get this message on the install assistant and on the ISO install.
The only way that seems to bypass this is to go the Unsupported install route. However, I don't want to take that risk since Microsoft says that this specific computer IS supported.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

2021-11-12T18:02:45+00:00 It didn't mess up my windows 10 install :-)
It sounds like you are saying that even though MS says they support the SS2 and the pchealthcheck says it is supported, it isn't supported YET. Am I reading that right? Thanks!

2021-11-12T18:15:52+00:00 The impression I get from some of the more reliable internet sources are that Windows 11 was rolled out somewhat prematurely and some of the edge cases like the SS2 CPU have been delayed while remedial work is being done. If I were to guess I'd say it might be another couple of months before it shows up in Windows Updates. My experience with the beta is that you not missing anything much yet. The reason I complained about SS2 being passed by (many months ago) was that later on we would have missed some of the more interesting stuff that's in the pipline (Android apps native, linux gui app natively etc.).
