SURFACE STUDIO LAPTOP

I have a 2yr old Surface Studio (One) which operates and works fine. All the software and drivers are up to date, except I have one issue. The laptop updates at various intervals and I can see that from the history. the operating system is Windows 11 Version 21H2 (OS Build 22000.2538). The laptop will not update to the latest version of Windows (I think is 23H2). I absolutely do not want to re-install Windows, lose files or settings due to the specialist software I run on my laptop for work (it is both lengthy and expensive to have installed). Can anyone offer a realistic solution to enable the system to update to the latest Windows version. I have run the trouble shooting software for windows and it has indicated a possible issue - please see attached screen shots. I have tried to find out more about the issue (if it is in fact the cause for not updating to the latest Windows version) but I am struggling to understand the solution. Can anyone offer any practical help please.

Thanks

    Hello Neil63,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I notice in your thread that you refer to this device as a laptop, but may I kindly remind you here that the parameters for the Surface Studio generation are in the link below, but this is not a laptop:

So I'm guessing you might be using a Surface Laptop Stuidio ?

Only after we confirm your device model, can we provide you with the driver and firmware package suitable for the device model in the following steps.

You can confirm your device model in the Surface App, which is available from the Microsoft Store.

If you are currently unable to Update Windows to 23H2 directly with the Windows Update feature, I recommend that you update the version directly to 23H2 by overwriting the system with the help of the 23H2 image file. You can download the 23H2 image file directly from the following link:

    Download Windows 11 (microsoft.com) ****

After downloading the image file, double-click the iso file to open it and click setup.exe directly.

Rest assured, this is not a reinstallation of the system, so in theory it won't affect the data on the Surface, but just in case, make a backup of all important data.

When you finish overwriting your system with an ISO image file, your Surface will reboot, and when you enter your desktop, Windows will update to version 23H2.

Finally, visit the support link below, download the driver and firmware package for your Surface model, and install it:
