I'm getting my ad disapproved for the following:

Intellectual property content

  • Violation in Display URL
  • Not allowed in United States

I'm trying to send traffic to a landing page built and hosted on Google Sites, the URL does not contain a brand name

How could my URL be in violation and not allowed in the USA?

I have just sent you a private message. Please respond to this message providing the requested information and we can move forward to provide account specific information.

You can also proactively request an exception for disapproved ads if, after reviewing the Microsoft Advertising policies, you believe ads were disapproved in error. With the request, you tell us the reason you want an exception and we will review the ad component again.

Here are steps on how to request an exception:

    1. In the Ads or Keywords table, select the checkbox to the left of the affected ad or keyword.
    2. Select Edit > Request exception.
    3. In the Tell us your reason for requesting an exceptionbox, enter your reasons why the ad or keyword should be approved.
    4. Click Request an exception.

    Kind regards,
