I saw an old question and answer but it was no help. They hide this feature well. Thank you!

    Hi Bill Haflidson,

Thank you for using our Microsoft Advertising Community Forum! My name is Shaynne, and I will be assisting you with this query.

I understand how important it is to have a control over the schedule of your ads and only display it to your target audience on your preferred date. Microsoft Advertising runs your ads indefinitely unless you set end dates for specific ad groups. You can see and change your ad group’s end date by going to the ad group’s Settings and clicking Schedule under the Advanced settings section. When you select an end date, your ad will run until 11:59 PM on that date, based on the time zone that the account is set in.

You can set your ads to end by a certain date, which is particularly convenient when running ads for a special occasion, like a holiday sale.

    To change your end dates

    1. From the collapsible menu on the left, select All campaigns > Ad groups > Ad groups.

If you're using the new Microsoft Advertising navigation, from the navigation menu on the left, hover over Campaigns and select Ad groups > Ad groups.

    1. Select ColumnsModify columns and ensure all of the columns you want to see are checked. Then select Apply.
    2. Hover over the field you want to edit and select the pencil icon.
    3. After you are done making your changes, select Save.

You can always edit an ad group's end date — before or after it passes — to make it stop running sooner or to make it start running again.

I hope the information provided helped you in addressing your concern. If you have any questions or help needed, you are more than welcome to reply on this message.

This is from the Bot. Still not a very good explanation.

To change the end date of a campaign, go to the ad group settings and click Schedule under the Advanced settings section. You can set the end date to automatically stop running your ads at 11:59 PM on that date, based on the account's time zone. You can always edit an ad group's end date to make it stop running sooner or to make it start running again. If you're using the new Microsoft Advertising navigation, hover over Campaigns and select Change history to review changes made to a specific campaign.
