I understand you were charged more than your set bid amount and I am here to help! To start, this can occur if a bid adjustment was set in your settings options. I recommend reviewing your targeting options to see if any of your bid adjustments were set to increase by a percentage over 0%. Below, I have provided some images and steps to help guide you.
1.Ensure you are in your Campaign settings.
- Check each bid adjustment under Location targets and Advanced Targeting. Make sure to click and open each target option, Ad schedule, Device, and Demographic to view their bid adjustments.
Once you have reviewed the targeting bid adjustments and if none of your bid adjustments were set to an increase above 0%, I would love to look into the account personally to determine a cause for your charge. If so, please check your private messages, so I may gather some account specifics.
