Can I use "Target & Bid" for LinkedIn demographic targeting instead of Audiences in search ads?

For standard search ads, can I use LinkedIn demographic targeting (industry, job function, company) to target and bid? I will do 'bid only' for Microsoft audiences and I don't see an option to change demographics to target & bid like I do with display ads.

    Thank you for using our Microsoft Advertising Community Forum!  This is Lou and I will be assisting you with your inquiry today.

    I understand you would like to check if can target & bid for LinkedIn profile targeting (industry, job function, company) for standard search ads. 

    Microsoft Advertising does not support the "target and bid" option for LinkedIn profile targeting.   Instead, it uses a "bid only" approach, as what you were aware of.  

    If you also visit the link below (see the highlighted part below the page), it shows that for LinkedIn, targeting is "bid only”.
