    Hello @Nikolaos Bellias

The error message you encountered indicates that your tenant has been inactive for over 200 days past the billing cycle, triggering Microsoft’s effort to remove inactive tenants. When a tenant remains inactive for this period, the OMS commerce system imposes a login block (AADSTS5000225). Twenty days after the login block is applied, the tenant is permanently deleted.

    Tenant inaccessible due to inactivity

If you plan to unblock your inactive tenant, it’s essential that it has been blocked for less than 20 days. After the 20-day period, the tenant is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

If it has been less than 20 days since the block, please provide the following details for further assistance:

    • Tenant ID
    • Error Code
    • Correlation ID from the recent failure
    • Timestamp from the recent failure
    • Business impact and justification for restoring the tenant, and an explanation of the impact if the tenant cannot be restored

Note: If it's a test tenant, please re-create a new tenant for testing purposes.

Quickstart: Create a new tenant in Microsoft Entra ID

If you have above details, please provide in Private message.

I created my Azure account for the first time and I got same issue "This tenant has been blocked due to inactivity." which is very strange. Even though $1 was deducted from my credit card when I was creating the account. Now the only way out is to call the "Customer service phone numbers". When I call to UAE number, from where, I belong, the only available option is Arabic speaking customer support agents. When I tell them I can't speak Arabic, they reply they will transfer my call to English support. I waited up to 40 minutes, no one shows up. There is no way we can start the online chat or send email.

I even tried calling the UK and Ireland, but there is nu human support available there. I am not sure what should I do now.

    regards,

    Mohsin

I have the same problem, sign up Azure for the first time, received email saying "Welcome to your Azure free account. You now have access to 12 months of free services and a USD200* credit." but when I login, I get the below error message.

    "Sign-in failed

    Error code: AADSTS5000225

Error message: AADSTS5000225: This tenant has been blocked due to inactivity."
