Error message
This issue can cause the following error message in Accessibility Insights for Windows: The non-Chromium version of Microsoft Edge has been deprecated.
Problem
Microsoft announced that the non-Chromium version of Edge has reached end of support effective March 9, 2021.
Suggested Fix
Upgrade to the new Microsoft Edge to ensure an up-to-date browser.
- If your app hosts a browser control, WebView2 is a Chromium-based replacement.
- If your app is a web page, you can move to a Progressive Web App with the new Edge.
