Issues registering custom domain in Azure

I am trying to register a custom domain to my microsoft entra ID. Therefore, I have followed the guide and added the DNS record as seen in picture, following the guide for registering the domain.

Despite trying many times, I am unable to complete the verification process. When I do a lookup, I am able to find the value as expected:

Am I missing something obvious? Grateful for any help!

I realize this is an Azure issue, but I was unable to create a support request in any other way.

We already have an Azure instance with the dokudok domain - I'm not sure if that could be the underlying issue?
