I am trying to install an in-place upgrade for windows 11 (25H2). The problem is when I get to the part where it says "Installing Windows 11 your pc will restart several times. This will take a while" it fails at 55%. More frustrating still; windows 11 setup doesn't give any details about what went wrong. It just says the installation failed. I upgraded to new hardware in order to upgrade to Win 11 as my old hardware couldn't support it (former CPU was to old). So upgraded the hardware, migrated the OS to a M2 SSD and registered the Win 10 licence to the new hardware. Everything works on Win 10, last step is upgrading to Win 11 which is throwing me a curveball. I've been searching for solutions and did try a few things already.

Checked my EFI partition size and made it 500mb instead of 100mb.

Checked compatibility, passes al checks.

Updated all drivers, BIOS, made sure Windows Update is up to date.

I checked C:$WINDOWS.~BT\Sources\Panther\setupact.log

I put a link to a copy of the file https://1drv.ms/u/c/68e2b6d0e8385309/IQCrEUXlFBhWTasUwIdOi5q1AZqaMK437evOvpUAbw3ZD7M?e=uBPztB

I have been struggling with this update for more than a week. I would greatly appreciate someone who will help me with this and stick around for any follow-up questions I have.

PS. I'm a Dutch speaker so apologies for English mistakes made in my text.

I see StopUpdates10 is running on your system.

Please unblock updates in StopUpdates10. This is important.

    Once done, uninstall the product.

(The SU10Guard service is associated with StopUpdates10)
